What about this Blog System?
Well, if you do not know what is 20 Time you are in luck because I will explain it to you.
20 time is this new concept introduced in some schools to allow 20% of whatever class you are taking to do something that truly interests you.
Yey!!
Now, for my 20 time I decided to create a board game to explain the organ systems in the body. To be completely honest i have so many ideas that I do not know if where to start.
Anyway, I wanted to do this project because I believe that the people should be able to know all (well as much as a game can fit) about the organ systems.
I plan to post pictures of "the progress of the board game." In addition I would love to post extra information about the systems, because it is a good thing to know what the game is about and it is fun to learn these things (of course if you are into it).
Well, thats all for now.
Oh! I almost forgot please if you have any ideas about the game or any complains about it please tell me. It is helpful information.
;)
Now, it is truly all.
Thanks for reading
I like the idea because learning and remembering organ systems can be very hard. Board games are a fun and interesting way to remember things and why not do it for organ systems. One idea I have is possibly have a start and end to the board game and have shortcut cards so if you land on a space have a tough question about a certain organ system and if you get the card right you advance to that organ system. I feel like this could add another dimension to the game. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteInteresting idea! The only other game that I know of that is dedicated to the human body is Operation, so it's really cool that you want to be able to do this! I think a lot of people know what sort of organs are in their body, but I don't think that they essentially know the roles that each and every organ plays to keep the body alive and going. My question for you is what type of board game do you want it to be? Do you want it to be kind of a quest or journey game where the player explores the body and its organs or a kind of "look for these organs" type of game? I look forward to seeing the end product of your game and good luck with everything!
ReplyDeleteThis body system board game you have created is a very cleaver idea. I would be interested to see whether or not it would sell at a store if your product becomes so education and fun. Only question is if you think you will have enough time to finish and make sure it is not too complicated so that it doesn't become confusing.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a great idea to make a game students can play while learning at the same time! However, what kind of board game are thinking of? There are so many board games ranging from Monopoly to Shoots and Ladders. If you are still contemplating this, I suggest you try a Memory Card game. It's not exactly a board game but it may be cool to incorporate in some way. I remember I used to love playing memory card games with my siblings all the time. However in this case, instead of having a matched pair be two cards with the same organ, maybe have one card be an organ and the other be the organ system it belongs to. Good luck! I'm excited to see your end product! :)
